There are a lot of ethical issues in the study of science and technology, there may be good consequences and bad consequences; we all know that most of the makeup or beauty treatments are first experimented with animals, that is biotechnology but also it is unethical because animals have feelings and also pain, so this case in particular can be considered a bioethical issue.

There is also biotechnology working in new medicines, new treatments, new cures, vaccines, etc; but there have been cases of scientifics that use first the new method and experiment on rats or other animals with, also there are a lot of bad medicine around the world that is bad for our health but we keep taking them, so this is one of the biotechnology consequences that involve bioethics because it is bad for the environment as for us.

The laboratories or factories in which they apply biotechnology, have their wastes and many of them are not clean and they can go and mix with the water of the ocean, this is involved with bioethics because if they are going to make experiments they should keep all clean and very carefully controlled because many sea animals die because of the toxic wastes.

I think biotechnology is very important indeed because humanity has progressed and has new opportunities of having a good health and new resources, but I think that somehow people is doing something wrong, there shouldn’t been animal experimentation, or environment contamination. Biotechnology should really mean that, technology   improves environment as well as human standards, because if we just affect and disorder biological life in order to increase economical benefits, we are not being bioethical.
