The international Women’s Day was celebrated in Cuernavaca with an exhibit of the paintings of eight women at the Borda Gardens. The joint exhibit included pieces of art of Selene Serron, Maricarmen Castrejon, Maria de Lourdes Alvarez, Grace Nehmad, Patricia Murillo, Yolanda Vela, Maria Elena Hernandez and Paola Esquivel.

This event was organized, as every year, by the Morelos Culture Institute at the retreat of Maximilian and Charlotte in Cuernavaca, where the Austrian Emperor and his wife used to come and enjoy the climate of the City of Eternal Spring and that its now the scenario in which the Mexican people can appreciate the highest forms of art.

Hundreds of tourists, both national and foreign, visited the exhibit.
