The Mexican national oil company PEMEX, confirmed having found a new oil field in waters outside the State of Veracruz in the Gulf of Mexico. The field is located 40 miles east from the coast city of Tuxpan and was detected at a dept 7 200 meters. It covers an area of some 20 000 square kilometers and it’s been explored through two wells.
